Intervention Assistance Teams
An Intervention Assistance Team (IAT) is a school based problem solving group whose purpose is to assist teachers with intervention strategies for dealing with the learning needs and interests of students. An IAT addresses acknowledged instructional problems and enhances existing methods of operation within the school organization.
All schools can benefit from implementing an intervention assistance team.
COSERRC provides two levels of professional development for Intervention Assistance Teams throughout the school year.
